Committee on Courts of Appellate Jurisdiction of the New York State Bar Association, 2008 to 2019:
In 2008, Mr. Feinman was appointed by the President of the New York State Bar Association to the Committee to, among other things, evaluate the practices and procedures of the Court of Appeals and the Appellate Divisions; conduct CLE programs; submit proposals and evaluations to the NYSBA Executive Committee and House of Delegates; and propose amicus briefs for the Executive Committee’s consideration.
Departmental Disciplinary Committee for the First Judicial Department, 2000-2006:
In 2000, Mr. Feinman was appointed by the presiding justice of the Appellate Division to the Committee. While serving two terms until the second expired in 2006, he assisted in reviewing and investigating complaints that had been filed against attorneys, and upon doing so, recommended what, if any, disciplinary action should be administered.
